Three French people working in Lille create music that consists of melodies of sheer pop freshness, which might eventually have functioned as background music in a big consumer space such as either super markets or shopping centres, synthesized and re-structered on a volatile rhythmic basis of crazy clicks, and of syncopated beats. Somewhere between the decentred textures of the oval and the fragmentary electronics of kid 606, the DAT Politics are not political but they are one of the most original projects from this country within the universe of electronic music.
